Overview

The Liberian Coalition of Human Rights Defenders brings together civil society organizations committed to the protection of human rights in Liberia. Affiliated with the West African Network of Human Rights Defenders (ROADDH/WAHRDN), its work is focused on institutional strengthening and supporting local civil society. Its priorities include protection and early warning, advocacy with authorities and regional bodies, and capacity-building for actors on the ground. Based in Monrovia, it relies on a network of local organizations operating throughout the country.
