The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is composed of members from various organizations across the continent. Its responsibilities include:

•  Ensure the Network’s overall vision and governance;
•  Define policies and the strategic plan, including priority programs;
•  Provide guidance to the Secretariat on the implementation of policies and programs;
•  Make the decisions necessary to implement the strategy and activities;
•  Ensure consistency between strategic objectives and the actions taken;
•  Ensure the Network's institutional accountability and financial transparency;
•  Ensure that resources are used appropriately and that management standards are followed;
•  Present the results of the implementation of programs and strategic directions.
