The protection of human rights defenders is at the heart of ROADDH's work
ROADDH's advocacy focuses on evidence, personal accounts, citizen engagement, and institutional partnerships.
The organization holds observer status with the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) and is a member of the steering committee of the NGO Forum held prior to ACHPR sessions. It is also a member of the “Human Rights Council Network” (HRC Net), a global network of NGOs that conducts advocacy and lobbying activities with the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC).
