The West African Human Rights Defenders Network (ROADDH/WAHRDN) contributes to the emergence of young human rights defenders. ROADDH brought together some twenty young students for a training session on June 26, 27 and 28, 2023 in Lomé (TOGO), focusing on the main protection mechanisms for human rights defenders.

In technical partnership with the Coalition Togolaise des Défenseurs des Droits Humains (CTDDH), this training workshop received financial support from the Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD). 22 participants took part.
At the end of the 3-day training, participants expressed their desire to continue similar training in order to become agents of change in their environment.
